Udder joins the Unseen Group

We are excited to share that Udder has joined the Unseen Group, the future talent partner for enterprise employers, powering recruitment and HR with technology, science and expertise to deliver talent experiences that are scalable, fair and human.

Udder was founded because we believed organisations deserved straightforward, genuinely independent advice when making important technology decisions. We wanted to cut through the noise, help clients choose and implement the right systems, and make sure those systems delivered what was promised. That same ambition has driven our growth and ultimately led us to Unseen, where we have found a shared belief in using technology to create better, more human hiring and employment experiences.

For 7 years, we’ve helped organisations make sense of HR and talent technology, whether they are choosing something new, implementing and integrating it, or improving what they already have. We make sure the technology delivers what was promised, with no noise, no jargon and no wasted budgets.

Why Unseen

Unseen works with enterprise employers across the full talent journey, building talent experiences and recruitment technology solutions that power scalable, fair, and human hiring. The addition of Udder into the Group strengthens and broadens that offer in a meaningful way.

Organisations that work with Unseen already benefit from expertise across assessment science, candidate engagement and recruitment delivery. With Udder now part of the Group, that extends to the independent technology strategy, advisory and delivery expertise that underpins those experiences.

For Udder, joining a group with this breadth of expertise opens the door to larger and more ambitious client work, closer collaboration across the wider talent journey and the opportunity to support more organisations.

Alan Walker, Co-Founder of Udder, said: “When Jeremy and I started Udder, we wanted to help organisations make better technology decisions and ensure the systems they chose actually delivered for their people. We also wanted to build a consultancy that was genuinely independent, straightforward and enjoyable to work with.

What drew us to Unseen was the alignment between that ambition and what they are building across the wider talent journey. They understood why our independence matters, but also saw the potential to connect Udder’s expertise with a much broader set of capabilities.

Becoming part of the group gives us the opportunity to support more organisations, take on bigger and more ambitious work and give our team even more room to grow. It feels like the right and natural next step for the business.”

Jeremy Russon, Co-Founder of Udder, added: “What I am most proud of is the team we have built. Their expertise, energy and commitment to doing the right thing for our clients and partners are what have made Udder successful and made this next chapter possible.

We are still Udder, with the same people, values and independent approach. Joining Unseen allows us to draw on expertise from across the group, collaborate in areas that are closely connected to our own work and offer our team new experiences and opportunities for development.”

Zac Williams, CEO of Unseen Group, said: "The question of which HR technology to adopt, and how to actually put it into practice, is one that comes up regularly with our partners and customers. Udder has built a trusted reputation in that space as an independent voice, and that independence is essential. But what struck me just as much as the capability was the quality of the team behind it. Bringing both into the Group means we can offer expert, independent tech advice at a level that will really set us apart."

What stays the same

Udder will continue to operate as a distinct specialist business within Unseen Group, with the same team and the same commitment to vendor-agnostic advice. Joining Unseen adds the resource, infrastructure and complementary expertise to scale that work, while preserving the objective approach our clients and partners rely on.

A note of thanks

Udder is, above all, its people, and this next chapter has only been made possible by the expertise, care and reputation those individuals have built. To our team, our clients, our partners and everyone who has contributed to Udder’s journey so far, thank you. We are incredibly excited about what comes next.

Alan & Jeremy,
Co-Founders, Udder
